posterThe forthcoming  O2 Touch Tour is the RFU s biggest campaign yet to get England playing Touch Rugby. It s one of the most inclusive sports available to men and women and offers a number of health benefits. As a non contact form of rugby, which means no tackling and no scrums or line outs, it s pure fun that ll leave you feeling like you ve had a great work out!  

Bradley Stoke Youth Rugby at St Mary s Old Boys RFC have entered a team into the O2 Touch Tour hitting the The Rec, Bath on 20th June. The tournament offers teams the chance to show off their skills playing against other teams in front of England Rugby World Cup hopefuls. The day is promised to be “filled with music, entertainment and guest appearances ” appealing to players, spectators and children. Jonny Wilkinson, who will also be at The Rec on the day  said “2015 is a fantastic year for English rugby and the excitement around the game is really building ”.

Summer Touch Training is taking place weekly on Tuesdays at St Mary s Old Boys RFC in Trench Lane 1830-1930hrs. New players (14yrs +) are very welcome to pitch up and play regardless of level of fitness or knowledge of rugby. For more info email  [email protected]  or call 01454 250489. The main rugby season starts again at your local club in September when, as always, we ll welcome new players from 5years up.
