It’s Panto time in Pilning!

We are pleased to bring you notice of The Village Players reproduction of Aladdin at Pilning Village Hall from Wednesday 4^th  to Saturday 7^th  December 2013.

Aladdin is a poor boy who dreams of being rich. Jasmine is a rich princess who dreams of being free of the restrictions imposed by her parents. Jafar is an evil man who dreams of world domination through the magic of the Genie of the Lamp. In pursuing his dream, Jafar kidnaps Jasmine, determined to marry her, and, in pursuing  his  dream, Aladdin must do all he can to save her. Aided by his mother, Widow Twankee, his brother, Wishee Washee, Matt, the grounded flying carpet (who can only fly by plane) and the Genie of the Lamp, Aladdin flies to the Island of Sillywollawolla (by plane!) where they are all captured by Cannonballs (yes, we did mean Cannonballs)! Will they be eaten or exploded? Will the magic of the Genie of the Lamp be stronger than the magic of Jafar s Spatula of Doom? Join Aladdin on his adventures to find out.

Shows are Weekdays at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 1:30pm and 6pm.   Ticket are £6/ £4. Under 3s are free on the knee at the Saturday Matinee. 1 seat in 10 are free.
