Light the NightNovember 30th, 2015
Most of us have been affected, one way or another, by life-threatening illness. And at Christmas we often remember the people we have loved who are no longer with us. Lighting a candle is one way of remembering them and giving ourselves new strength.
We invite you to join us in lighting a candle for our Light the Night Appeal. As well as this act of remembrance, you can also give support to people who are currently in crisis as a result of life-threatening illness. A donation to The Harbour will help us to provide free professional counselling to them at a time when they are in need of someone to talk to.
We are a small charity and we make every penny count. This Christmas we need your help so that we can continue to offer support to people who may have nowhere else to turn to when they need it most.
For our Light the Night appeal, you might want to remember a loved one who has died, or celebrate the courage of someone who is currently facing life-threatening illness. Perhaps you are ill yourself? Or perhaps you just want to show that you are there to support others.
