Little Stoke Fake Festival joins in 10th anniversary celebrationsMarch 9th, 2016
The UK’s only touring tribute festival is back and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this summer. All the fun takes place in Little Stoke at Little Stoke Park on Saturday, 14th May, with three major tribute acts and five local support bands, who will be turning up the heat this summer.
Little Stoke Fake Festival makes a welcome return on the 10th anniversary UK tour, and licensee, Pete Marsh, is delighted to be part of the celebrations.
“Last year was yet another success for Fake Festivals in Little Stoke, and everyone had a fabulous time. This year we are back even stronger with another fabulous line-up with something for everyone,” Pete told us. “Now people know what to expect from a fake festival, we hope to have a full house, and tickets are already selling fast.”
2016 will see world-class tributes to Queen, Coldplay and Blondie hit the stage at Little Stoke Park inside the famous Fake Festivals marquee, along with five lucky local support bands.
“I love being a licencee, and the whole experience of promoting the festival and the days building up the event helping turn a beautiful green area into a festival site,” Pete added “It’s great fun working on the day meeting friends existing and new, meeting the bands whose professionalism makes the festival a hit, serving the public with refreshments, and generally having a good time. Then on the Sunday we work hard to put the site back to how we took hold of it some 48 hours before.”
The 10th anniversary celebrations will be going on all day and evening and, there will be the main bar inside the marquee, and a variety of food and entertainment stalls in the outside arena.
