Local Dance School Raises £4,000 for CharityMay 4th, 2016
Sharon Phillips School of Dancing held their biennial dancing show on 29th-31st March at The Olympus Theatre, Stoke Gifford. 200 children took part, aged from just 2 and a half years up to 18, performing tap, modern and ballet dancing. Having experienced two of these shows myself in past years Matters can vouch for how spectacular they are! This show was no exception and was a huge success, raising £4,000 for the charity CICRA which supports children and young adults with Crohns or colitis disease.
Sharon Phillips School of Dancing is based in Alveston and Patchway and children attend lessons from all the surrounding areas, from 18months old to adults. If anyone is interested in classes you can find them on Facebook or can contact Sharon directly on 07989 652 780.
