Local opticians donates one thousand high visibility vestsMarch 4th, 2019
Specsavers in Bradley Stoke is championing road safety in the local community by donating more than 1,000 high visibility vests to local children.
Julie Rafferty, PR coordinator from the local opticians in the Willow Brook Centre, mostly recently handed out vests to local rainbows and brownies groups to help ensure the youngsters will be seen when out and about.
‘We are committed to helping local children stay safer on the streets,’ says Julie. ‘It’s great that we’ve been able to support the rainbows and brownies as they often take part in outdoor activities, so we hope the vests will provide some peace of mind for parents and those who look after them.’
