Little Stoke Gifford Matters was delightd to be invited along to one of the Stokes Brownie Packs to meet a winner of the Guiding Design our Shaun competition.
Entries were judged at County Day and, with over 200 entries of a very high standard, judges had a very difficult job deciding upon the winner. In the end, it was decided that one of the Guiding Sheep would be decorated with a combination of three entries.
One of those entries was from Emma Mitchell of 2nd Stoke Lodge Brownies. The judges loved how the different Trefoils on the body represented all the different sections so this part of her design has been used, as well as the colour coordinated hat and stripy ears.
Emma received a certificate as well as a vist from Robert, the Guiding Sheep, where photo s were taken of the Brownie Pack who meet Wednesdays weekly at the Jubilee Centre in Bradley Stoke. Robert was then displayed for the evening whilst the Brownies hosted their fundraising event in aid of the Wallace & Gromit Grand Appeal.
