Marie Curie Cancer Care Appeal for Volunteers for New Group

Marie Curie Cancer Care is forming a new volunteer group in the Stokes and are appealing to readers for their support.

The new group will cover Stoke Gifford, Bradley Stoke, Little Stoke, Stoke Lodge & Harry Stoke representing the charity locally and organising events and activities to boost the profile of the charity in the area and raising funds for Marie Curie Nurses living and working in Bristol & South Gloucestershire.

These funds are vital in ensuring the Marie Curie Nurses can continue providing free nursing care for terminally ill patients and their families in their own homes.

The group will meet up locally once a month to plan these events so it is very sociable and a lot of fun.
