‘Matters’ celebrates 5 years of being ‘in the community for the community’

We are celebrating this month having been “In the Community, For the Community” now for 5 years. This time has simply flown by and, from humble beginnings, we have be fortunate enough to grow significantly, with the latest issue of Bradley Stoke Matters being the biggest issue to date !

We feel very proud for having been able to help numerous groups come together and grow over this time, as well as putting like minded individuals in touch with one another and really helping to encourage community cohesion. The success of the magazines, which is entirely funded by the advertisers and backed up by our community website, has enabled us to give approximately £10,000 back into community groups, schools and projects so far. At the recent Bradley Stoke festival alone we helped support 15 different groups and have been able to help fund an additional two local activities since this time.

We have really enjoyed bringing you all the community news and meeting so many local residents at all the events and activities that goes on across the area. We look forward to continue doing so in the years to come and hope you all agree that Bradley Stoke, Little Stoke and Stoke Gifford really do MATTER!
