Meadowbrook in Cancer Research Relay

A team from Meadowbrook primary school, including Head Teacher Jon Barr, is entering the Relay for Life to support Cancer Research.

The event involves a relay in which at all times for a 24 hour duration the team must have a member of the team walking around a track at Yate Outdoor Sportsd Complex.

The school held a non uniform day in support of the team’s fundraising efforts, and has organised a children’s disco with all the proceeds going to the cause.

A final event will be held on the day itself at YOSC where the school team will be running a tombola stall. Donations of soft toys (in suitable condition but they do not need to be new) and wine would be most welcome at the school’s reception on Three Brooks Lane.
