Meadowbrook Joins Forces with Patchway for Oliver Performance
July 5th, 2010
Year 4 and year 5 pupils from Meadowbrook Primary School in Bradley Stoke play a special role – as the orphans – in Patchway Commuity College’s fabulous performance this week. See our Flickr album for a great selection of photos!
Budding actors and actresses from Meadowbrook have been rehearsing for the performance for the last few months, under the watchful eye of Drama teacher Sherie Humphreys. The children have relished the opportunity to be involved in a large-scale production with older children. A full dress rehearsal took place on Monday, eagerly watched by year 5 pupils not starring in the show.
9 year old Annabelle said “It’s been fun learning all the songs and the dress rehearsal was great; I can’t wait until the show starts on Tuesday!”
Performances take place on Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th July inclusive, starting at 7.30pm each night. Please call 01454 862020 to book your tickets for this fabulous show!
The venue is Patchway Community College, Hempton Lane, Almondsbury, BS32 4AJ
