Meadowbrook Primary School enjoy new play equipmentMay 23rd, 2017
Lovely to see these photos of children enjoying the new play equipment at Meadowbrook Primary School. The new play area was opened officially by Headteacher, Jon Barr, and CEO of the Olympus Trust, Dave Baker earlier this month. Once the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony was complete the children were immediately exploring the play structure!
Meadowbrook enjoys some of the largest school grounds in the local area, and has been keen to develop the outdoor space further for several years. With the help of the Friends of School and a little input from the schools budget pupils are now benefitting from the enhanced play space.
“The new play equipment has clearly had a positive impact on the quality of outdoor play for all our pupils. Children return to the classroom refreshed and ready to focus on their learning after a playtime that has offered a creative physical challenge and a more varied outdoor space.
We are so grateful to everyone who has supported our Friends of School, either by leading events or taking part in them.” Jon Barr, HeadteacherTags: Bradley Stoke, meadow brook, School Back to news
