Meadowbrook SAW project currently on display at Library
April 1st, 2015
On Friday 6th February Meadowbrook Primary School took part in the SAW (science, art and writing) project. This project has been carried out world wide to create links with science, art and writing.
Children from Meadowbrook took images related to their science topics and used these to inspire them to create art and write poetry. Two children from each class were then chosen and presented with a certificate during last Friday s achievement assembly.
In Year 6 children looked at plants using digital microscopes and produced poetry and art from them. Some of the Year 6 children currently have their work displayed at Bradley Stoke Library until Tuesday 14th April – do look out for the display and take a look at their efforts!
