Mr Movember? It’s BCSC’s own Calendar Boys

The male members of staff at Bradley Stoke Community School have united in their support of male prostate cancer awareness and have joined several thousand other men in growing moustaches for the month of November.
This annual event, commonly known as Movember, has become a global charity fundraising event and raises thousands of pounds for the fight against cancer.
Male staff have endured the itchy stages of growing a moustache throughout a month in which there has been several important meetings including a Parent Consultation evening! Staff have been supported by the students of the school, particularly tutor group 8G who have raised awareness by hosting Movember Dodgeball Events complimented by their amazing stick on moustaches!
Fundraising has involved the creation of a staff calendar that can be purchased from the European Christmas Market that the school are holding on Thursday 8th December for £3 and a charity meal that has raised £130 to date.
