MS Firewalking Challenge
December 18th, 2012
Can you stand the heat? Would you like to do something amazing in the New Year?
Then why not join the MS Society fire walk and help raise funds for our local people affected by multiple sclerosis by walking 20ft over 1,200 degree Fahrenheit glowing embers at Cabot Circus in central Bristol on Saturday 9 February.
Once fearless participants have signed up, they will be sent a free fundraising pack. Places are limited for this exciting experience so book today to avoid disappointment!
It is estimated that over 700 people live in Bristol with MS. MS is a variable neurological condition. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger and older people too. Almost twice as many women have MS as men.
Area Fundraiser, Andy Jarrett, told Matters Magazines “This is the first major event being organised by our emerging new Bristol and South Glos branch so it would be great and offer them so much encouragement if we could make this event a fantastic success.”
