Nativity First

Wallscroft-Farm-Academy-NativityFifty reception pupils at Wallscourt Farm Academy, Stoke Gifford will not only be celebrating their first Christmas at the academy this year but will also be taking part in their very first nativity play.

Based on the traditional story of Mary and Joseph, the pupils have been learning all about special stories, and they have written their own version of this special story. The children are very much looking forward to performing in front of their parents,  carers  and extended families.

The pupils created their own masks and accessories and designed and created the set. Residents of the local care home were  invited today to watch the dress rehearsal.  There will be two further performances on 17th December and 18th  December.

Susie Weaver, Principal of Wallscourt Farm Academy said, “The children in Oak Learning Zone have written and shared a very special story with the community at Wallscourt Farm. They have sparkled, shone and we are really proud of them for this fantastic first nativity performance ever! ”
