Chrismtas-carol-concert-1The countdown to Christmas is well and truly underway with festive spirit ‘sprouting’ everywhere in Bradley Stoke.

The annual Christmas Carol Service on Thursday evening saw the whole community come together to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Led by Tim Sunderland, Pastor of Bradley Stoke Evangelical Church, Paul Hinckley, the new Vicar of Christ the King Church and Brian Hopkinson, the town Mayor, the service featured choirs from local primary schools Holy Trinity Primary, Bowsland Green and Meadowbrook performing seasonal hymns and songs includingThe Little Drummer Boy,  Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, Silent Night and Hark the Herald Angels Sing  accompanied by a brass band.  

Prayers of thanks and a rendition of  We Wish you a Merry Christmas  saw the evening come to a close with everyone enjoying a mince pie or two.
