Olympus Academy Trust is awarded the Communicating Excellence Award 2014
December 5th, 2014
Press Release from the Olympus Academy Trust:
We are delighted with education marketing specialists Grebot Donnelly decision to award The Olympus Academy Trust with the Communicating Excellence Award 2014 . This is in recognition of our commitment to the ongoing celebration of our students successes and positive communications to all our stakeholders throughout the year. In addition to this we have reinforced the close partnerships we have with local primary schools and with members of the community. This has paid significant dividends with both schools in the Trust now oversubscribed. This represents a key indicator of our efforts to raise our profile and position Abbeywood and Bradley Stoke as schools of choice for parents and students in the local area.
The partnership between Abbeywood Community School and Bradley Stoke Community School has developed significantly under The Olympus Academy Trust over the last 18 months and is set to continue to strengthen as more projects and schemes are taken on together. It is an exciting time for the Trust as the building works commence on the primary provision at Bradley Stoke Community School which will soon become an all-through school. We will continue our promise to deliver an outstanding education for our students by ensuring all have access to the highest standards of teaching, resources and learning opportunities through the sharing of best practice across the Trust.
Executive Headteacher Dave Baker commented: We are extremely excited about the future of The Olympus Academy Trust. The year ahead of us not only entails an expansion of the family of schools under the Trust umbrella, but also the opening of the primary provision at Bradley Stoke Community School in July, which will broaden our wealth of knowledge across the education sector, providing an insight into the primary sector. The recent Ofsted inspection at Abbeywood has validated the work of the Olympus Academy Trust in establishing Abbeywood as a good school, with Ofsted stating that “The partnership between the Olympus Academy Trust and the school is very successful in ensuring that standards have rapidly improved. We are confident the successes and achievements of the Trust will continue to be recognised with the support from Grebot Donnelly through effective marketing and communications.
The Trust has shown outstanding commitment in their efforts to promote their successes and strengthened relationship with primary schools, local and national businesses and the wider community. This work has provided schools within the Trust added impetus to continue to maximise the potential of their students. We look forward to seeing the Trust maintain their remarkable progress, with excellent communications a key aspect of their strategy. Isabella Donnelly, Managing Director of Grebot Donnelly
