Playpod Arrives At Wheatfield Primary School
October 19th, 2012Pupils, staff, parents and governors of Wheatfield Primary School attended a Grand Opening ceremony for the latest addition to the playground: a gigantic Playpod.
Eighteen months of hard fundraising by the Friends of Wheatfield has culminated in the impressive £15,000 needed for the purchase and upkeep of the Playpod.
Headteacher, Christine Dursley, said “A huge Thank You to the Grounds Committee, the governors, the Friends of the school and to everyone who supported the fundraising events. A special mention to Mrs Johnston who led the grounds team.”
