RBL Stoke Gifford Branch Launches Poppy Appeal 2023 at Bristol Parkway Station

With kind permission and support from the Station Manager and Team, Bristol Parkway railway station hosted the launch event on Friday 27th October which included Members of the Branch, Poppy Collectors, Local MP, Councillors, the Stoke Gifford RBL Chairman John Moloney and the amazing RBL Riders.

The Stoke Gifford Branch and it’s Committee wish all those involved in the Poppy Appeal a wonderful 2 weeks, and hope our Poppy Appeal organisers have it stress free too!

Other forthcoming events taking place will be a gathering at Sainsburys Store Stoke Gifford on the 11th November, where we will hold a two minutes silence in the store for staff and customers to participate in the act of remembrance.

This will be followed on Sunday 12th to gather for a service of remembrance at Stoke Gifford Cenotaph 10:30 for 10:45 am start.

At 11am there will be a service held at Stoke Gifford Baptist Church for those who wish to attend.

Then as usual, a service will take place on the following Sunday 19th November at Patchway Sports and Social Club starting at 10:30am for those wishing to join the march.  It will start from Doctors Surgery in the Parade shopping area car park. Other wise to gather at the social club.

All guests wishing to attend are welcome.

Anyone looking for a great organisation to join then Stoke Gifford Royal British Legion we would love to hear from you. There is no need to be  Ex military.
