School Closures Due to Strike Action

We have received notification that the following local secondary schools will be closed to all pupils for one day next week – Thursday 17th October – due to staff industrial action.

– Bradley Stoke Community School

– Abbeywood Community School

– Winterbourne International Academy

We are awaiting confirmation from Patchway Community College where no decision had yet been made as of 9.30am this morning (9th October).

Primary Schools (Update 10th October).  The following confirmations have been received:

Bowsland Green Primary School will be closed.

Meadowbrook Primary School – some classes will be closed – those affected have been notified

St Mary’s Primary School – Years 3 and 5 only will be closed, remainder of school open as usual

St Michael’s Primary School will be partially closed- information for parents is available on the school’s website www.stmichaelssg.co.uk

Wheatfield Primary School will be partially closed – information for parents is available on the school’s website www.wheatfieldprimary.com

Holy Family Primary School

Holy Trinity Primary School

Little Stoke Primary School

St Chad’s Primary School

Stoke Lodge Primary School

As with any strike action, things could change nearer the time, or on the day, so do check with your own school.
