“STREAMS” “It’s church Jim, but not as we know it”

If you happen along to the Church of Christ the King on the fourth Sunday evening of the month you will be in for a bit of a treat!

Collect some freshly-brewed coffee or tea and home made cakes as you enter (no payment required) and then settle down at a table in the café-style atmosphere, relax and chat with others, and engage with informal worship in friendly surroundings. Along with churches throughout the country, CTK holds these services so that people who would not normally feel at home in church might find faith in a more relaxed environment.

During recent “Streams ” sessions, participants have pored over treasure maps, taken part in quizzes, heard about local heroes and told their own stories. They have also enjoyed listening to regular “Streams ” speakers and musicians – and sometimes singing along as well.

“Streams ” provides an opportunity to meet with God in a relaxed setting, amongst old friends and new. Everyone is welcome to come along. You might love it or hate it, but you’ll never know until you try it!

“Streams ” is at 6.30pm on the fourth Sunday of each month, except for August and December.

Why not go along and give it ago?

Spring/Summer Dates: 28 April, 26 May, 23 June, 28 July
