Summer Reading Challenge ends this Sunday – Have you Claimed Your Medal?

Just a reminder that this year’s children’s summer reading challenge finishes this Sunday 18th September, so if you have not been back into the library to claim your medal get down there quickly!

Over the summer an impressive 1,046 children signed up to the Summer Reading Challenge at Bradley Stoke Library alone, which is fantastic!   It’s great to hear that many children in the area are so keen to take part and are enjoying their reading.     The various activities hosted by the libraries also proved popular.   At Bradley Stoke there were two drop in craft activities on the theme of clowns and the big top and 179 children joined in over the two events. 38 children also attended an excellent circus skills workshop where they learnt how to juggle, spin plates and ride on a unicycle. (Luckily there were no accidents!)
