Take a giant leap into libraries this summer with Space Hop!

The 12th annual reading challenge, Space Hop, takes place this summer in all local libraries. It started last weekend so hop along to any library to sign up to help the young crew of the Ex-Libris set up the first library on the moon. There are hazards to overcome on the way, stickers and mini prizes to collect. Read 6 books to complete the mission and get your medal. Further information will be on the Space Hop website www.spacehop.org.uk. You have until 18th September to complete the challenge!

Local libraries will be holding special free workshops to accompany this year’s challenge. These will be listed on our What’s On calendar, so keep checking it out for news of these and other ways to keep the kids entertained over the holidays.
