July 26th, 2015THE STOKES ART GROUP SUMMER PROJECT ‘STONE’ WAS WON BY A LOCAL SCENE !!
THE BRIDGE AT THREE BROOKS POND painted in Watercolours by Stokes Artist Lorraine Durant, won the people’s Vote for 1st Place in the SAG’s Summer Project Competition.
The Project Collection of 20 Artworks, based on ‘Man’s Use of Natural Stone in the Landscape’, was displayed at Christ The King Church, Bradley Stoke, for the duration of their Friday Coffee Morning where Patrons attending on 10th July were asked to vote for their favourite entry.
The Display was viewed with keen interest, and the supply of deliciously tempting refreshments served with a smile from the Team at CTKC was quite literally the icing on the cake!!!
