‘Warm Spaces’ Across the Stokes
December 6th, 2022With temperatures set to plummet this week, just a reminder that there are ‘Warm Places’ set up across the Stokes by the local Churches and the Town Council that you are welcome to drop into and rest a while, have a chat, enjoy a warm drink, some company and even a light meal in some instances. Attached are pages from our December magazine giving more information of times and days available in different venues, along with the Town Council’s poster information.
There is a choice of venues every day Monday – Friday. What a wonderful community we live in!
Monday –
Christ the King will be open every weekday morning from 8am until 12 noon. They will be happy to offer a cuppa and a slice of toast!
Brook Way Activity Centre Rooms A & B Mondays until Christmas 9am – 3.30pm
Bradley Stoke Evangelical Church (BSEC) will be open every Monday from 2-4pm. You can come and enjoy free refreshments, charge your devices, make use of the internet and find support and guidance to other available sources of help.
Tuesday –
Christ the King will be open every weekday morning from 8am until 12 noon. They will be happy to offer a cuppa and a slice of toast!
Bailey’s Court Activity Centre – Tuesdays until Christmas 11.30am – 5pm in the Cherry Room
Wednesday –
Christ the King will be open every weekday morning from 8am until 12 noon. They will be happy to offer a cuppa and a slice of toast!
Brook Way Activity Centre Rooms A & B Wednesdays until Christmas 9am to 4.30pm
Little Stoke Baptist Church, Kingsway, Little Stoke every Wednesday 2-4pm
St Michael’s Church, Stoke Gifford 2-5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays You are welcome to come in and make yourself a hot drink (kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk provided) and also a microwave
Thursday –
Christ the King will be open every weekday morning from 8am until 12 noon. They will be happy to offer a cuppa and a slice of toast!
Jubilee Centre Thursdays until Christmas 9am until 5pm in the Cedar Room
Little Stoke Baptist Church, Kingsway, Little Stoke every Every Thursday 10am-2pm (including soup & roll lunch)
