Bradley Stoke Town 1st XI continued their charge up the Bristol and District Division 2 table with a comfortable 5-3 victory over South Central Bristol.
Goals from Tom Anderson-Dixon (2), Matt Hull (2) and Ed Linsdale were enough to see The Hornet s 1st XI claim their 8th win in 10 games which sees them in 4th place in the table, with good prospects of promotion.
Bradley Stoke Town A Team were unable to convert large amounts of pressure into points, as they succumbed to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Rangeworthy Reserves. Graeme Marshall equalised for The Hornets after they went down to an early goal, but a late penalty turned the tie in their opponents favour as they ran out winners.
The 1st XI s next game is at the Jubilee Centre on Saturday 3rd March at 2.30pm. All supporters welcome on the side-line and in the clubhouse ‘The Hornet’s Nest’.
