Wheatfest 2023 – An amazing total raised!

The Friends of Wheatfield Primary School
Wheatfest is Wheatfield Primary School’s flagship summer fayre and, thanks to the British weather back in July, the decision was made to postpone this year’s event until 9th September.
It turned out to be the right decision as it was a cracker of a day with brilliant weather, lots of fun and great community spirit. The children presented the Friends with an extensive list of requests at the early stages of planning and we hope we fulfilled some of their suggestions.
We had a circus performer, Bradley Stoke Radio covering all that went on throughout the day and performances by local dance groups and our own school choir. We had an eco zone, body art zone, food zone and wristband zone which included a disco dome and inflatable obstacle course amongst other things. A favourite with the children across the game stalls was soak the teacher!
Thanks to our amazing community we raised a whopping £6,437 to go directly towards school projects and initiatives.
