Wheatfield Primary School Choir sing for Retired Education Leaders
December 27th, 2015
We were honoured to be invited to the recent Association of Retired Education Leaders Christmas lunch where Wheatfield Primary School Choir sang for the retired heads, deputies & others who have held Senior Management positions in schools. The children, from years 3 to 6 inclusive, told us they “like making other people happy with their singing” and “enjoy performing at different places for new people”.
Advised that their performance was “outstanding!” credit must also be given to Mrs Roberts, who leads the choir assisted by Miss Gregory.
The local AREL group meet regularly and their programme includes talks by visiting speakers, walks, other events and a good lunch! Â They would love others to join their friendly group, including those who may not have worked in the Bristol and old Avon area but now reside here.
