Willow Brook Centre shortlisted for another environmental excellence award

The Willow Brook Centre in Bradley Stoke has been shortlisted for a CIWM Environmental Excellence Award.  These awards recognise and reward performance and achievement in waste and resource management, both within the waste industry and in relevant commercial sectors, such facilities management, retail and construction.

Hosted by wildlife television presenter, Michaela Strachan, the awards ceremony will take place at the Grosvenor Square Marriott Hotel, London, on the 7th November 2013.

Scott Lahive, Manager of the Willow Brook Centre, said:   “We are already proud to have won the national Shopping Centre Sceptre Award for Waste Management and the highly regarded Silver Zero Waste Award.  To be shortlisted for a CIMW award is a great honour, and we also find out in November whether we have won a Gold, Silver or Bronze Green Apple Environment Award so November will be an exciting month!  We are extremely proud of the recognition we are receiving from organisations that champion the highest standards in environmental issues. ”
