A familiar face to many and a true success story within the centre’s own walls, Ben’s journey is one rooted in dedication, hard work, and genuine care for the Willow Brook community. Having been part of the centre for nine years, he has quite literally worked his way up from the ground floor — starting as a housekeeper and going on to take on every single role available at the centre along the way. From facilities and operations to customer service and tenant support, Ben has built a deep understanding of every aspect of Willow Brook’s day-to-day life.
His appointment marks a proud moment not just for Ben, but for the entire Willow Brook team.
“It’s an incredible honour to step into the role of Centre Manager,” Ben said. “Willow Brook has been such a big part of my life for nearly a decade. I’ve grown with the centre, and I care deeply about the people here, our retailers, our team, our customers and most of all our community.”
Ben’s hands-on experience gives him a unique perspective. Having carried out each role himself, he understands the importance of teamwork, high standards, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the doors.
A family man from Thornbury, Ben lives locally with his long-term partner Lauren and their two sons. His strong ties to the area mean his commitment to Willow Brook extends beyond just the workplace.
“Being part of this community means everything to me,” he added. “I want Willow Brook to continue being a place families enjoy visiting, somewhere friendly, safe and full of life.”
