We are investigating reports of a serious sexual assault in the Bradley Stoke  area on Saturday night, June 6.    The incident happened at about 11.45pm when a 22-year-old woman, who was on her way home from a night out, was attacked in an area between the underpass and Three Lakes, near to The Bluebells road.  The area was cordoned off to allow crime scene investigators to carry out an examination of the scene which resulted in the annual 10km run was rerouted early on Sunday morning as it was scheduled to have gone through the area.

Police enquiries are continuing.
