INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY & FASHION SHOW2434
This year Southern Brooks Community Partnership (SBCP) will again be organising the celebration for International Women’s Day with some of its Partners, including Bradley Stoke Town Council, Bradley Stoke Community School and South Gloucestershire Council.
The event will be held at Bradley Stoke Community School and will even be bigger this year than previously! In addition to the fantastic fashion show, there will be the Outstanding Women’s Awards (OWA) and the newly added Poetry and Photographic competition, all to acknowledge and honour the women we know.
The event promises to be great fun and is becoming apart of the social calendar of the area. This is an opportunity for residents to show their appreciation of the women in their lives.

This walk has been organised by the Severnside Ramblers. They travel to the walk by car (lifts available, & a donation towards fuel is appreciated) from the meeting point.
This walk lasts approx 2 hours.
A circular walk exploring a different route between Chipping Sodbury & Yate. Variable terrain with good footpaths. Not particularly demanding but steep in some places.

100 YEARS OF AVIATION EXHIBITION2530
"100 Years of Aviation - The Local Connection" is a free exhibition by Olveston Parish Historical Society between 10am and 4pm.
There will be memorabilia, books and photographs of various aspects of BAC and its descendent companies. Particular reference is made to the pioneering work carried out at Tockington Manor during the War Years. There will be illustrated talks by Chris Bigg.
