July 20th, 2012
The Year 6 children at Little Stoke Primary have been deservedly celebrating after achieving the school s best ever Key Stage Two SAT results.
94% of the class scored level 4 or above in both English and Maths, and 50% gained level 5 in English and 39% gained level 5 in maths.
Three members of the class went on to achieve level 6 in Maths and one pupil gained level 6 in both English and Maths.
100% of the children achieved at least two points progress, which is the national aim for all children in Key Stage two.
All but three of the children joined Little Stoke Primary school in Reception class, and John Trimble, Deputy Head and the Year 6 class teacher said, This is what our school can achieve when we have a stable class who spend their whole primary school career with us. These results are a credit to the Year 6 children who have worked tremendously hard, and also to the teachers who have taught them with dedication through their years at Little Stoke Primary school .
