The Bradley Stoke Bowls Club was established in 2010. The club is situated next to Baileys Court Activity Centre and has been established in agreement with Bradley Stoke Town Council. New members welcome. If you are interested in joining, or finding out more about the club, please visit https://www.bradleystokebowls.com.
Short Mat Bowls is a highly enjoyable, indoor version of full length flat green bowls, which is played – as the name suggests – over a shorter distance. Stoke Gifford Trust Short Mat Bowls Club is a friendly, local, indoor bowls club. Members of the Stoke Gifford club meet to play bowls three times a week (on Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons) in the Trust Hall on North Road.
The club hs been running for over 30 years and because the game is weatherproof, members gather to play all year round. New players, experienced or beginners, are warmly welcomed and club regulars are always happy to explain the rules and techniques to newcomers. There is a minimal cost per session, which includes refreshments half way through the afternoon.
The club has a Facebook page to make information more accessible to potential members. It can also be contacted by emailing [email protected] or by phoning 0117 330 5487.
The Trust Hall is located next to the playing fields on North Road, Stoke Gifford, BS34 8PE.
