LOCAL SUPPORTS ARE ANNOUNCED FOR LITTLE STOKE FAKE FESTIVAL

fake2The Fake Festival trucks are preparing to load up and embark on yet another tour of the UK with their unique touring tribute festival, and Little Stoke on 2nd  May is their first stop at Little Stoke Park.

The five chosen supports for this year are Hooper, Violet Heights, Dysfunktional, Metal Gods and Sean Snook.

In the past seven years Sean Snook from Bristol has toured the world from Japan, across Europe and all 50 states of America. He worked on the soundtrack for Film4’s Franklyn, and more recently he has been working with Beth Gibbons. 2013 saw him release his debut album, ‘Do Nutty’, so watch out for this guy and catch him early on as he opens the festival.

Metal Gods are a four-piece dynamic, and very high energy metal/rock band. Having grown up listening to the likes of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Motorhead, Metal Gods bring the 80’s metal back to life.

Dysfunktional are a young, energetic and exciting covers band from Southvile, Bristol, that raise the bar in live funk, soul and pop together with rip roaring sax. With some top session credits between them, they mix big performances with killer medleys to bring a memorable live show that will leave you craving more.

Violet Heights are an exciting new British band from Weston-Super-Mare, fusing their youthful energy into pop/rock.  Thoughtful songwriting, soulful vocal stylings, pumping rhythm sections, synth leads and tasty guitar licks merge into an exciting cocktail, drawing comparisons to Lawson, The 1975, Kings Of Leon, Don Broco and Lower Than Atlantis. Their unique blend of catchy melodies, modern pop/rock sensibilities and thoughtful lyrics will touch your heart and set your pulse racing.

Warming you up for the main tributes is Hooper,  a contemporary four piece cover band who have been thrilling crowds nationally for over a decade. They are much more than the standard party band and will certainly put you in the festival mood.
